Centrale Lyon ENISE is a co-accredited member of the "Sciences Ingénierie Santé" doctoral school (ED SIS 488). Upon successful completion of their thesis, they become Centrale Lyon doctoral students.

Within this doctoral school, Centrale Lyon ENISE delivers the Centrale Lyon doctorate. Centrale Lyon ENISE participates in its governance and leadership alongside Université Jean Monnet and École des Mines de Saint-Étienne. Centrale Lyon ENISE's teacher-researchers are currently supervising around 50 theses in 2019 (including around 30 enrolled at EDSIS).
