School presentation

Located on the La Métare university campus in Saint-Étienne, Centrale Lyon ENISE has been training Centrale Lyon engineering graduates in mechanical engineering, civil engineering and sensory engineering for over 60 years. Part of the École Centrale de Lyon, Centrale Lyon ENISE offers high-level scientific training in the engineering sciences of each specialization, as well as in the human and social sciences, economics and management. The curricula integrate issues linked to major ecological, energy, digital and social transitions. The strength of Centrale Lyon ENISE lies in its ability to train engineers who are both experts in their specialist fields and capable of leading cross-disciplinary projects.

Centrale Lyon ENISE has developed close ties with companies in a wide range of sectors (aeronautics, automotive, construction, engineering, healthcare, textiles, etc.) through multi-year partnerships on research and innovation projects. This proximity enables us to base our training courses on the recruitment needs of companies, and to offer a wide range of job opportunities to our graduates and trainees.

Centrale Lyon ENISE also enables its students in the mechanical engineering and civil engineering specialties to complete their training on a sandwich course in the engineering cycle with the company of their choice, thus acquiring solid operational skills over three years while receiving remuneration.

Welcoming around a hundred high school students each year in the first year of the preparatory cycle and around a hundred Bac+2/3 graduates in the first year of the engineering cycle, Centrale Lyon ENISE is a school on a human scale within which its students forge strong friendships, which will form the cement of a dynamic professional network.

More than 30 associations and clubs run by engineering students give them the opportunity to take responsibility for cultural, sporting, recreational or social activities and events... enabling them to develop managerial skills in organization, communication, negotiation while giving free rein to their passions.

Participation in school life is an integral part of training. Every Thursday afternoon is freed up to enable engineering students to get involved in an association and practice sports activities.

Welcoming a growing number of foreign students to campus and accompanying students on their international mobility on internships or with one of the school's university partners helps develop Centrale Lyon ENISE students' curiosity and openness to the world.

The essence of the École Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Saint-Étienne is the combination of scientific rigor, a spirit of innovation, collective commitment and respect for society and the environment.

The École Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Saint-Étienne is a leading engineering school in France.
