Objectives
The integrated preparatory program offers a 2-year pathway for acquiring the knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills of the Centrale Lyon ENISE speciality engineer. Our engineering students receive training in fundamental sciences (mathematics, physics, and computer science), engineering sciences and human and social sciences (languages, management, economics, communication).
These two years provide students with a pathway that prepares them to enter the desired specialty courses, and to validate 120 ECTS credits essential to move on to the engineering cycle
.
Program
Each year is organized into 2 semesters. Each semester is itself made up of around 30 hours of teaching and projects per week, structured into teaching units. Each teaching unit consists of lectures, tutorial sessions or practical work, in small supervised groups.
Continuous assessment validates the passage of engineering students from one year to the next throughout the 5 years, without a competitive examination to enter the engineering cycle.
Opening up to the world of industry begins as early as the preparatory cycle, through lectures by professionals, company visits... An 8-12 week internship is compulsory at the end of the second year.
Our engineering students benefit from personalized follow-up and close support from their teachers. During the preparatory cycle, each engineering student is followed by a referent teacher.
